Occupy Fresno has asked Fresno County to stop arresting protesters camped out in Courthouse Park until a federal judge can hear its request to continue the around-the-clock vigil.
County officials said Monday they haven't seen the proposal. But they have retained former federal judge Oliver W. Wanger as a legal counsel in the case, a move that one legal expert said shows the county is seeking victory -- not a truce -- in the battle.
