  • John Balazs is an attorney in Sacramento, California, specializing in criminal defense, including appeals, habeas corpus, pardons, expungements, and civil forfeiture actions. After graduating from UCLA Law School in 1989, he clerked for Judge Harry Pregerson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. John was an Assistant Federal Defender in Fresno and Sacramento from 1992-2001. Section 1983 Prisoner Litigation Seminar at UC Davis School of Law Friday

The Sacramento Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the UC Davis School of Law are co-sponsoring a full day (9:00 am to 3:00 pm) seminar on Section 1983 Prisoner Litigation Fundamentals.  The seminar is this Friday, December 2, 2011, at the UC Davis School of Law.  Registration at the door is $20 for EDCA Pro Bono Panel Members and $40 for non-Panel members, with a $5 discount for FBA members.  Pro_Bono_Seminar_Final_Agenda
