AG Holder Authorizes Death Penalty In Killing of Atwater Prison Guard Case

In what I believe is the only pending case in the EDCA where the death penalty has been authorized, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder authorized the death penalty against two defendants last week in a Fresno case involving the killing of an Atwater prison guard.  Fresno Bee, 3/12/09.
