If a person is in jail and has not been sentenced yet, should he postpone sentencing until a crack reform bill becomes a law?

The answers to this and other questions about crack sentencing reform can be found at FAMM's FAQ.  The Sent Law And Policy Blog speculates that in the near future the House will adopt the Senate's version of the cocaine sentencing disparity bill, which will reduce the crack-powder disparity to about 18:1 rather than eliminate it.
