Senate Confirms Former Sacramento Police Chief Najera as EDCA U.S. Marshal

The Senate voted Wednesday night to confirm the nomination of former Sacramento Police Chief Albert Najera to serve as U.S. marshal for the Eastern District of California.

Najera, who was appointed by President Obama earlier this year, served as Sacramento's police chief from 2003 to 2008.
