The longtime owner of pharmacies in Shasta Lake and Redding has agreed to pay $175,000 to federal prosecutors to settle claims he billed Medi-Cal and Medicare for patients’ drugs but kept the pills and the cash.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Sacramento announced today that Ronald T. Lim, the owner of Lim’s Family Pharmacy in Redding, Lim’s Shasta Lake Pharmacy and Susanville Family Pharmacy, paid $175,000 to settle federal prosecutors’ claims he violated federal drug regulations by not keeping track of pills in his supply.
