Fresno County Pension Managers Sue BOA's Countrywide

Fresno County pension managers filed suit this week against Bank of America Corp.'s Countrywide, accusing the mortgage lender of misrepresenting its financial health and prompting the county to make losing investments in the company.

In a lawsuit filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court, the Fresno County Employees' Retirement Association claims it lost "millions of dollars" in publicly traded Countrywide securities between 2003 and 2008.
