Alia Brost, former co-owner of the defunct downtown Bakersfield eatery Victor Victoria's, was denied bail Thursday at a detention hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Sheila K. Oberto in federal court.
Both Brost and her husband, Roberto Renteria Jr., face a host of felony fraud charges related to allegations they put thousands of dollars worth of unauthorized charges on the credit cards of restaurant patrons.
