About 50 people arrested last month in connection with a giant marijuana plantation near Sanger will not face federal charges for now, a spokeswoman with the U.S. Attorney's Office said today.
Fresno County sheriff's deputies and federal agents raided the plantation July 28, seizing thousands of plants.
The investigation is ongoing and other charges are possible, said Lauren Horwood, U.S. Attorney's Office spokeswoman. She declined to say why no charges are currently being filed.
