Feds Charge Alleged Sexual Assault in Lassen Volcanic National Park

A 61-year-old Tehama County man was arrested Friday morning at his Red Bluff home after he was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in Sacramento on two felony counts of sexual assault.

The incident, which involved a 10-year-old Red Bluff girl, was reported to Red Bluff Police by the girl's mother in April and allegedly took place in Lassen Volcanic National Park in March, said Red Bluff Police Detective Kevin Hale.
