Sacramento Guilty Verdict In Mortgage Foreclosure Fraud Case

On Monday, a Sacramento jury returned a guilty verdict on all counts against defendants Charles Head, Benjamin Budoff, and Dominic McCarns in a jury trial totaling 18 days in United States v. Head, No. 2:08-CR-0116-KJM.  All three were convicted of conspiracy to commit mail fraud while Head was also convicted of three substantive mail fraud counts.  The charges arose out of a purported foreclosure scheme fraud.
