Mammoth Lakes Man Charged With Removing Native American Artifacts From Public Lands

A Mammoth Lakes doctor faces a 21-count indictment in Fresno federal court for removing Native American cultural artifacts from public lands. [Indictment, No. 1:15-CR-253-LJO]

According to the indictment, Jonathan Cornelius Bourne, 59, found the relics, some more than 100 years old, in Death Valley National Park, Inyo National Forest and Sierra National Forest.
